Kiln #99 unloaded

Here is a peek at some of the items from kiln #99.  Sorry about the poor lighting. A click on each image should enlarge the photo to see details.

Bacon cookers...looks like I'll be taking orders on these.
Appetizer tray, baker, and pitcher in popular glazes.

Serving bowl with saucer, Quinn's plate, and a pie plate.

Some additional samples of serving pieces.

Pitchers and coffee filter holders for pour-over coffee enthusiasts.

A couple of  serving bowls added to the shelves.

Large rectangular tray and a marginal experiment.

Small square plates and some coasters, mug lids, pill holders...or whatever.

Rectangular trays...traditional and non-traditional for the tray selection.

Large oval serving tray.
Another large tray ready for salmon, halibut, or another favorite.
Oops. Darn. This one stuck to the kiln shelf and cracked.
Oops again. This one for Logan had a thin spot and cracked in the kiln.

And these are firing in kiln #100...to be unloaded on Thanksgiving
.

Hope this gives you an idea of the types of pieces available, along with lots of mugs, ornaments, buttons, and more on Dec. 7. In addition to the pottery, there will be a selection of knit items as well as the art work of Willow artist Stephanie Richey. Come by if you can, 10:00 to 5:00. Three open studios for shopping, one church bazaar, and a community holiday dinner make Dec. 7 a great day to be in Willow!

Greetings to all...and may Thanksgiving be special for you and yours. We are thankful for so very  many things . . . and hope you are as well. Family, friends, health and happiness are high on the list as something we'd like to see for all.  The snow is starting to fall, the studio needs cleaning, and there are kitchen duties to tend before tomorrow.  Take care, be grateful, and have a fine Thanksgiving!!
