The first glaze firing of 2014 is cooling -- and yes, I'm eager to see how things look. Undoubtedly there will be both good news and not such good news, but every piece provides information that can be helpful for future work. Among the following photos is work recently bisque fired -- some of which is in the glaze kiln now and others which will be loaded in the upcoming glaze kiln. Just washed. Now they've been glazed and fired. When the newly glazed pieces are unloaded, I'll share the results with you, here. With the coming of spring, longer days, and more sunlight, it's time for increased creativity -- and productivity....
