The Dales -- also Artists Extraordinaire

  We are again fortunate to have Melinda and Bill Dale pieces for sale at WillowAK Pottery! Melinda designs patterns and creates, with precision and an artful eye, quilted pieces reflecting her love of nature, color, and Alaska. She, too, has big news, a new sewing machine yet to arrive at the time of this posting.Yes, she is excited about this addition to her sunny and spacious sewing studio. Here's a look at some of the beautiful pieces Melinda has made so far for the Holiday Tour.  Do enlarge them to see the detail. (Yes, the pens in the photos are to give you an idea of the approximate size of each item.) Joan Edwards -- Fiber Artist Extraordinaire

 Hello Again! You've seen the beautiful bags, totes, purses, table runners, place mats, quilts, shawls, coiled fabric bowls, and more that Joan has created for the Studio Art Tour in recent years; she continues to offer similar beauties, and has now added woven gifts to her repertoire.  The woven pieces shown below were done on the loom that has lived in her loft for a number of years.  The really BIG news is that her new loom recently arrived.  Made in Sweden, it will give her even more capability.  Matched with her incredible talent, we can expect to see even larger pieces from Joan in the future.
