The snow continues to fall in Willow; it's beautiful to look at, but time consuming for the man here who runs the tractor, snow blower, and multiple shovels. Picked up another ten shear bolts for the John Deere so he's good to go for awhile -- and never complains. Daytime temps mostly in the 20's, we're on watch for snow slides off the metal roofs, and we're getting accustomed to having the Barefoot Contessa keep us company during lunch. In the past week I enjoyed our 48th wedding anniversary, Valentine's Day, knitting birthday socks, making seed tapes at Willow Garden Club, and doing a glaze firing. Retirement seems good! Lots of mugs in the recent kiln, since I'm still working on a request for many mugs. One more glaze firing and I'll have that request filled.
