Here is a sampling of what was unloaded this morning.  There were 59 pieces plus some small cutouts and test tiles for experimenting with glaze behaviors. The following photos and captions pretty much tell the story.

Serving bowl -- ice blue and white

Yarn bowls--yellow, nutmeg/black, pastel watercolor look

Tumbler and mugs -- the blues

Bird sketch -- preliminary drawing before glazing

Fruit bowl -- white with cobalt accent

So, that's the report from today's unloading of the kiln. The next step is to sand the bottoms of all glazed pieces, price them, and use the information from this firing to determine how to treat the next load of bisqueware, which is ready for glazing and firing.  Those with drawings and scenes will take longer, but the results can be pretty rewarding.  I'll post again when there's more to share.
Thanks for your continued interest and do feel free to comment.
