Pottery Peek . . Willow Holiday Studio Tour 2018

New pieces out of the kiln.  Fiber and wood art images will follow soon, so do bookmark the blog and return.  We hope to see you on Dec. 1. If you have a request or question, please get in touch.

Spoken for . . . but there are similar ones.

No shortage of mugs.  It's Mug O'Mania since listening to requests.

Thumb rests please. Sure.

I like light colored mugs. OK

Blue for me.. with fish or flowers.  Got it.

Blue, too, but moose or birds.  Of course.

A collection -- similar, but each unique.  Yes.

I need a cover to keep my tea hot.  You've got it.
We'd like a matching pair--one covered, one not. That's doable.

Yarn bowls. Knit, purl, yarn over, double crochet. Enjoy!

Same coloration, different forms.

Covered containers. Think urns.  Or, treats/treasures.

Sewing caddies awaiting pincushions on top.  Did I get it close, Carolyn S.?

Berries? Grapes? Veggies? A quick rinse and a drain.

Somewhat dramatic. How would you use it? Nuts? Swedish Fish? Chocolates?

Special serving pieces...platters and bowls.

Pie plates - - and they do bake beautifully. Testimonials on request.

Salmon-colored moose on a spin.  Why not? Not a bullseye!

Better on the bowl than grazing in the gardens.

Speaking of gardens, pottery vases are great for floral arrangements.

Yes, the detail is there.  Ferns and and dots if you look closely.

Small pieces. Simple. Sweet. Often favorites.

And shelves .. with a preview of the knit hats to be featured soon.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

We want you to have a look at what you are likely to see at WillowAK Pottery on Dec. 1, so do watch for more blog postings.  Four studios are on the tour.  Visit all four to be eligible for a door prize.  The silent auction is for the Willow Library.  Plus, the Willow United Methodist Church has its Bazaar and offers a tasty Soup and Bread Lunch from 10:00-2:00.  To top it off, it's also the Willow Holiday Dinner night at the Community Center!!

We've said it before, "A Great Day to be in Willow!"
