I do love seeing my pottery and knitting put to good use. With permission, I'm sharing a photo of two beautiful boys in Vancouver, BC, sporting their WillowAK hats with porcelain bear and fish buttons. Thanks for the photo, Christina. It inspired me to make a few more hats similar to these.
The following images are a sampling of work from the most recent kiln firing, plus a few knit items. Also, fiber artist Joan Edwards will be at WillowAK Pottery on November 18 with some of her beautiful fiber work; it's a treat to have her back visiting in Willow with some totes, bowls, table runners and more available for purchase.
For those new to Willow, this is a self-guided tour. You learn the location of the three open studios and get yourselves there any time between 10:00 and 5:00 on Saturday, November 18. Check out the many wonderful and unique gifts available in our local studios: Stephanie Richey Art, Scott and Joan's Willow Creek Studio, and WillowAK Pottery on Shirley Lake. Flyers are posted around town and on social media, as well as at the bottom of this post. We'd love to have a strong turnout of our Willow neighbors, friends, and curious shoppers. Although unavailable on the tour weekend, there will be many opportunities in the coming month to visit Northern Spirit Rustics for your holiday shopping, too.
