Think I'm caught up . . .

Hello!

Unless someone says otherwise,  I've completed and notified people who have ordered pottery and patiently waited to hear from me.  Some of you recently returned to your lake homes for the summer and may be in touch soon. Is there anything you're still waiting for from WillowAK Pottery?

Out of the kiln recently are plates headed to Talkeetna's beautiful Dancing Leaf Gallery.  When the plates are delivered, I will also submit a large wood salmon that has been decorated for the Talkeetna Historical Society Salmon Run Art Fundraiser. Many decorated salmon will be auctioned to benefit the Museum and the Historical Society.  Right now, the Seven Sunshine Salmon piece I have is a work in progress, but it will end up looking something like this:

It could end up being ugly...or not. Time will tell.  Eclectic, yes, and smiling!

Now, to the pottery:

Below, are images of the most recent porcelain items out of the kiln...most of which are ready for new homes. If you see something of interest or if you want to know more about any of them, please email willowakpottery@gmail.com or text 907-360-3696. All the images should enlarge so you can see more details.

1.  Black bear-on-a-log bowl

2. Caribbean and mystey glaze collection

3. Floral pie plate

4. Caribbean fish platter

5. Rectangular and square plates

6. Charcoal wood grain plates

7.  Dotted trio

8. Blue-banded pair of square plates

I've moved on to making mugs.  Many mugs.
They'll end up at a new shop in Anchorage, Winter Solstice Sewing & Crafts.   How exciting to have a NEW shop catering to those who love the creativity of sewing and crafting!  Check out the link. Love the logo!  Stay tuned to hear more.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your guests to the studio if they are interested in pottery or looking for a unique gift. Texting 907-360-3696 is the best way to make that happen.

Thanks for looking.
