You asked to see them glazed . . . so here they are:

My last post showed a table full of white pottery that had been bisque-fired, but not glazed. Several viewers asked to see some of them after they were glazed and fired a second time, so here are some of the completed pieces: I call these bouquet or whiskey cups. Six are spoken for.  Who knows what these will hold in the future?    Small bowls, each different from the others.    Here's a look at a table full of new pieces. A moose appearing framed by moonlight. One of two  large casserole dishes with a capacity for 8 cups of liquid. For fun....I'll be doing more of this, even though it is time-consuming.   More square and rectangular plates are coming. More fun on a large wood-grained porcelain tray.  It's garden time! This piece could have many purposes...canister? vase? utensil holder?  It does have a lid,  Sea life decor has joined the collection. Stripes, bees, lace and dots are here, too. Willow is Awake! No loons yet at the lake and duck visitations are spotty. Time to declare summer, though, with a busy weekend of events in Willow coming up on Memorial Day weekend. Willow is awake!! Saturday, May 23, Sara and I will be set up with some pottery at Northern Spirit Rustics , where the Chaga Chicks are hosting an event including several local art vendors, one of which is WillowAK Pottery. Everything these talented and energetic ladies organize is a fun and interesting event.  Do stop by if you have a chance. There are many events taking place in Willow on Saturday: a 5K race, book fair, nature park planning meeting, museum event, and probably many more. Get out and about if you can and do stop by to say hello at  9057 N Blackie Loop in Willow, 10-:00-4:00. Yes, I do have new pieces to glaze, but can't get to this work for a while yet.
