The evening of the recent "Open Studio" I unloaded a kiln. Had promised that I would post images of new pieces, so here they are. Also, now that the studio is well organized and clean again, feel free the rest of the summer to just get in touch if you'd like to come browse by yourself or bring visitors for some local art. I'll be taking a break from making a mess in what is a wonderful studio space.

Deep dish serving piece/pie plate

Square luncheon plates (spoken for)

"Stand Off" rectangular serving tray (spoken for)

Dog, raven, (and you'll see a tree one later) snack plates

A gathering of the newest pieces

A large mug of different colors

A casserole dish --  it may be without a lid

A tiny plate and the tree snack plate

Stacked blue mugs with trees

Shallow bowl and matching pitcher
(t
They are more teal than they appear here)

A new glaze called black cherry...which looks more like a worn denim
... neither black nor cherry. It even feels like worn denim to me.

A lighter version of a golden retriever

A darker version of a golden retriever

A bee and a moose on small dishes

Stacked mugs with subtle images:
octopus, bicyclist, fish and ferns

And that's the end of show and tell from kiln firing #150 at
WillowAK Pottery located at 25879 W Southlake Drive in Willow.
Thanks for taking a look.
Let me know if there is something you'd like to come see in person.
